Recently a survey is carried by Social Media Examiner and BloggersTech jointly on social media Marketers and online brand owners either they are blog owners or webmasters but both are included in the survey.It is seen that Social media marketers also use SEO in their marketing efforts PPC,according to the survey report out by Perfect BloggersTech.
Social Media Examiner and BloggersTech have announced the results of their annual survey,it had replies from more than 3,800 social media marketers around the world.The survey was carried out on the basis of various queries but a few common queries are:-
1. What social networks marketers will focus on in the future.
2. The top 10 social media questions marketers want answered.
3. How much time marketers invest with social media activities.
4. The top benefits of social media marketing and how time invested affects results.
5. The most used social media tools and services.
6. Activities social media marketers are outsourcing.
When it was asked what other marketing channels they use,search engine optimization(SEO)was the No.2 response behind e-mail marketing.Paid search or online ads as the survey called it was far down the list at number six.Sixty-five percent of social media marketers say they use SEO, compared to only 38 percent who use paid search advertising.

Business to Business in social marketers were slightly more likely to do SEO(67 percent)than their B2C counterparts(62 percent).Going forward,68 percent of respondents said they are planning to increase their SEO efforts a number that is down slightly from 71 percent in 2011. Only nine percent this year said they have no plans to use SEO.Only 43 percent of the social media marketers surveyed say they are planning to increase their use of PPC advertising.Recent years says that Facebook is the No.1 social networking site with 92 percent adoption where twitter,pinterest are 2nd and 3rd place respectively.In case of Google+ is a distant sixth,but most respondents say they are planning to use Google+ more in the future.

Survey Report Says that Bloggers & Webmasters Use Social Media Marketing Comparison Than SEO Tools & PPC.So it is very easy to say that social media marketer gets more preference than any other form of promotions.
