Premer agun jalere amar is the best of Nupur & Niloy

Premer agun jalere amar is the best of Nupur & Niloy.
There are basically two types of song- the pure or classical – generally played with instruments and the folk – which is vocal with very few instruments.
Premer agun jalere amar is the best of Nupur & Niloy
The history of Bengali song generally traces the second trajectory. Even before the Bengali language was properly formed – there was Bengali song – pictures of musicians marching along on ancient stone-walls prove this. But there is very little other proof. In fact most of the Middle Ages in Bengali Song can be reconstructed more through assumption rather than actual fact.

Premer agun jalere amar is the best of Nupur & Niloy. Is it really Bengali culture ???

Padabali is the text for the Kirtan. The poets Vidyapati and Chandidas [not Baru Chandidas] generated the initial traditions of Padabali literature in Brajabuli and Bengali. Chaitanyadev’s nourished the Baishnab Renaissance in Bengal and Narrotam Das Thakur – in Chaitanyadev’s death anniversary created Leelakirtan or Rasakiratan on the basis of these texts – rendering them a classical feel without its strict rigours. The singer has much greater independence here as s/he can even add letters and/or sentence fragments for the sake of emphasis in this congregational tradition. There are four major traditions of Kirtan – Garanhati, Reneti Mandarini and Manoharsahi – the main tradition that sustains now.Najrul produced over three and a half thousand songs for the Gramophone Company for a span of 22 years – 1920-42. This is an index to his popularity. His songs can be categorized in two sections- the patriotic and the romantic. A very thin line of funny songs exists somewhere in-between – but his fame rests mainly upon the romantic line which expands upon simple images – intensified by the details of melody. Melody has much more value here than the words [difference from the Tagorian tradition]. Najrul’s melodies

Morom dili cheneh dili batote log pai by best Assamese song of Queen Das.This version has sung by Trishna Devi. When we turn the pages of the gradual development of modern Assamese music, the very first thing that strikes our mind is that it is quite a recent affair.

History tells us that modern Assamese music was formed with the combination of the different Ragas and Raginis and the folk songs.

Assamese songs on the road of Changing :-

Assamese songs were scarcely existent and Assamese people used to sneer whenever the question of composing songs in Assamese was brought in. Assamese people of those times sang only the Bengali Khemta songs, Nidhubabu’s Tappa and the songs of Syamlal and Dwijendralal. Bengali Kirtans and jatras penetrated into the nook and corners of Assam and even entered into the Satras. Bengali drama and music reigned supreme in the domain of Assamese dramatic literature and music. When this stage was over Assamese people began to sing songs translated from Bengali introducing new tunes. Till that time none composed songs in Assamese. But the influence of Bengali introducing new dramas did not last long. In 1883, late Satyanath Bora, published Geetabali, a beautiful book consisting of the first Assamese songs in the current Bengali tunes. So, Satyanath Bora may be called the first Assamese composer of songs. After this Assamese people never looked back. In 1901, was published Pranay-gan by late Bhaktaram Dutta Choudhury of Barpeta. This collection of songs dealt with the victory of love. Then we find Banhi, a collection of songs by late Benudhar Rajkhowa in 1906. Thus, these men with a strong sense of national feeling offered their contribution to the store-house of Assamese music.

Though Satyanath Bora, Bhakatram Dutta Choudhury, Benudhar Rajkhowa composed Assamese songs, they had not yet been able to make any headway. Their contemporary late Lakshmiram Barua (1875-1914) was one of the prominent pioneers of Assamese music. He will remain immortal in the musical literature of Assam for enlivening and vitalizing its existence. He felt that for its existence Assamese songs must be based on the basis of the Raga-Sangeet. But, of course, he had also written songs in the style of folk music and for Brindabadya. His Santeet Sadhana and Sangeet Koshintroduced a new phase in Assamese music. Lakshmiram Barua gave evidence of his love for and skill in music by organising theatre party at Shillong and acting as its band master and by establishing a theatre party, ‘Bijni Hall’ and ‘Assam Association’ of Dhubri for cultivation of music. Raja Prabhat Chandra Barua Bahadur writer of Sangeet-Sopan, was his intimate friend. He was also a mainstay of the ‘Ban Theatre’ of Tezpur which developed its musical side beyond expectation with his guidance as ‘musical master’. Thus, the songs composed by Lakshmiram Barua and Radhanath Phookan of Jorhat who composed Kiyonu Pahora Asomiya HeraSiro Laltumi Asila Swadhin remind us of the past achievement of the Assamese race. Prafulla Barua, son of Lakshmiram Barua recorded this song. The young men of that time found inspiration in music from the songs of the lyrical poet Padmadhar Chaliha. The songs in his Phuloni were very well received in the Assamese society of that time.

After Lakshmiram Barua, who had contributed a lot to the development of modern Assamese music, we also remember national minded Sangeetacharya Kirtinath Sarma Bordoloi whose feeling of glory of Assamese heritage revived the riches of Kamrupiya Sangeet. His immortal booksSurparichayKamrupee Sangeet etc. are invaluable contributions to Assamese music. Not confined to Raga Sangeet he wrote many lyrical dramas like Basanti AbhisekLuit KonwarSur Bijay etc. composing songs in distinctive Assamese melodies like ByasSuknanniDurgabariAainam,Biyanam etc. As the chief of Assamese music in the Publicity Department of the Government of Assam also his contribution has no comparison. His song in Durgabari style Ai Sonar Asom Ho and two other songs Naame Mandakini Dhar and Akul Meghe Sujal Dharaearned popular praise at that time. Through owing to the efforts of the leaders of modern Assamese music there was a beginning of the composition of Assamese songs, yet, there was no effort made to bring Assamese music to the threshold of the new times and Assamese music had yet to wait to introduce itself without any complex. Though as examples of old music, Bangeet, Bhakatia-geet, Aainam and Biyanam etc. had some entrance into educated society, Assamese educated persons sneered at Assamese culture considering it to be vulgar. Then, there appeared Rupkonwar Jyotiprasad Agarwala who inaugurated a new chapter in the history of Assamese music and made Assamese tunes acceptable to Assamese society.

In the history of the gradual development of Assamese music also remember the names of lyrical poets like Umesh Chandra Choudhury, Nabin Chandra Bardoloi, Ambikagiri Roy Choudhury, Prasannlal Choudhury and Parbatiprasad Barua. During the national movement these poets wrote songs to suit group singing. Among those Nabin Chandra Bardoloi’s Deka Gabharur Dal and Ambikagiri’sBol Bhai Aguai will ever remain in the minds of the Assamese people as a great source of inspiration. In 1915, Ambikagiri earned the applause of all by singing his He Janmabhumi Janani Amar Santi Sadhana Swarga, in the Assam Students’ Conference with Lakshminath Bezbarua in the chair. Umesh Choudhry will be remembered for his song Asoma Nirupama Janani and for his books of music Pratiddhani,Debaddhani and Mandakini. We cannot also leave aside Jyotiprasad’s contemporary Parbatiprasad Barua, who enriched Assamese music by writing Sonar Soleng. On the other hand Kamalananda Bhattacharyya’s collection of songs Bauli and two songs which were once so largely appreciated –Bilat Tirebiroy Padumor Pahi Oi and Charai Haladhia will make him immortal. In the field of modern Assamese music mention may be made of Porosottam Das, who composed Srimoyee Asomee, Anandiram Das, Siva Bhattacharyya, Nirmal Mazujmdar, Anukul Nath, Kamal Choudhury, Dilip Sarma, Naba Barua, Brajen Barua, Rudra Barua, Mukul Barua, Molin Bora, Dhan Chandra Das and many others. Above all, Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, who with a new style both in matter of composition and tune brought a new resurgence in the Assamese music. Through his efforts Assamese songs have crossed their limited boundary and have found a place in other provinces as well.

Assam and Assamese songs History :-

Owning a rich heritage of folk music, Assam is indeed a home to diverse cultures and ethnic groups, all of which contribute significantly to its musical repertoire. Kamrupiya Lokageet, Goalporiya Lokageet and Ojapali, and ethnic folk music like Jhumur and Bharigaan are some forms in which the Assamese music is well known. An astonishing fact is that a ceremony or festival is performed which is regarded as being helpful in driving away the mosquitoes. Called as Mohauhau or Mahkheda, young boys go from door to door and sing and dance, striking the ground with bamboo sticks and taking leaps and turns; this is usually done on a full moon night in November.Yet another festival is Bihu which is a connotation of three different largely secular festivals of Assam, Rongali Bihu, Kongali Bihu and Bhogali Bihu The first one also called the Bohag Bihu is the one that is celebrated on the onset of the Assamese New Year and the onset of spring.Yet another festival involving groups of boys and young men who are led by older men moving from door to door thereby singing and dancing in the front or back courtyard and collecting subscriptions to be spent on repairing the village Namghar (community centre) is called Husari is a form of Rongali Bihugeet. The unique feature in this is that the music is indeed faltering or disjointed and the dance begins with the singing of hymns led by a comparatively elder person. This festival is indeed more famous for its religious grandeur thereby giving clear indications of the origin of the Bihu festival in some ancient fertility cult. A number of musical instruments are used for the Assamese folk music such as Wind instruments (Susir) including the flute, the Ciphung bahi of the Bodos, the kali, the pepa, the singa and the gagana, stringed instruments (tala) such as tokari, the been and the serja or serenda. It is indeed worth mentioning that the Tokari, played like an ektara or a sitar, is widely used by folk singers and also by wandering minstrels who sing mystic songs like Deh Bicarar Geets. the dhol, nagara, daba, khol, mridanga, jaidhol etc are some of the significant ones among the percussion instruments of Assam wherein the khol is the principal tala instrument for Vaishnava music, Jaidhol in wedding ceremonies, Khanjari, small and light and a combination of drum and cymbals, also belongs to this group. A common drum is used mainly in Bihu dance which is the dhol and another a simple instrument of a piece of bamboo-tube split from one side, is beaten to keep time measurement in Bihu song and dance called the Taka.
Trends write-up
It is worth mentioning that a basic characteristic of the ethnic music of Assam is its descending scale- this style is shared by ethnic music of the hill people surrounding the state of Assam, and by the music of countries like Thailand, Myanmar and China. It is this style that distinguishes it from the raga-based or folk music from the rest of India. These tunes are structured in a pyramid, in contrast to the music of rest of India which is meend-based.

Trivia/ Quotes
• It is an interesting feature that in Assam, the Bihu drummer often utters his bols and follows their reproduction on his drum; he then dances in such a way that he appears to have no bones in his body at all.

• It is indeed a matter of pride that besides the rich variety of folk music, the Assamese people also have Bhakti music in the form of Borgeet and Zikir

Best Rain Dance of  The Bollywood By Anita Raj in Wet Saree From umain30 Collection.
Anita Raj  was born on 13 August 1962  is a former Bollywood actress and her father actor Jagdish Raj was popular for Police roles in Bollywood.Best Rain Dance of The Bollywood
She & her sister were trained with the legendary Gopi Krishna in Kathak, and so at one of his annual programs, Yash Chopra noticed her. He wanted to cast her in a film, but that project could not start, in the meantime Hrishikesh Mukherji saw her pictures and signed her for his film Acha Bura. But that film got delayed and Anita signed two more movies, which include Prem Geet, turned out to be her debut film. It had good music, good story line and Anita was having an author backed role too. Anita made an impact and walked out with critical acclaim.

She got to work with filmmakers like K.Balachander in Jara Si Zindagi, Hrishikesh Mukherji in Acha Bura, South's famous director Narayan Rao in Prem Tapasaya, Basu Chatterjee in Lakhon Ki Baat etc. She did lighthearted films like Zameen Aasmaan, Dulha Bikta Hai, Ab Ayega Maja etc. She was all set to do Coolie opposite Amitabh Bachan, which was also offered to Reena Roy, but finally Rati Agnihotri did it. Earlier she was not willing to do glamorous roles, but after failure of some of her nice films and success of Naukar Biwi Ka and Jeene Nahin Doonga, she too moved to glamorous roles. She played glamorous roles in films like Masterji, Iljaam,Karishma Kudrat Ka and also de-glamorized roles in films like Ghulami, Satyamev Jayte, Kala Dhanda Gore Log, Pyar Kiya Hai Pyar Karenge. She got to work with actors who were much senior to her. She mentioned in an interview "I had a great rapport with all my co-stars. And there was virtually no star who mattered with whom I did not work. Besides Manojji, there were Dharmendra, Vinod Khanna, Sanjeev Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Sanjay Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Jeetendra, Rajesh Khanna, Shatrughna Sinha, Kamal Haasan, Rajnikant, Anil Kapoor, Rajiv Kapoor and others. I was like a buddy to them all and now when I come to realize that so many of them are nearing or touching 70, I am amazed at how I was romancing them just 15-25 years ago and we still matched as pairs."While shooting of film Karishma Kudrat Ka she and director Sunil Hingorani fell in love and got married in 1986, but Anita continued acting. Jaan Ki Baazi, Kudrat Ka Karishma, Iljaam,Insaniyat Ke Dushman, Satyamev Jayte all did well at the box office. But most of these films were moneymaker means just successful, not classic and memorable. Even in 90s her films like Sherdil, Adharam, Khatarnak etc. did quite well, but she decided to quit films to look after her son and family. She made comeback in last of 90s on TV with seriel Aashiqui and later with Eena Meena Deeka. Her long delayed film Sagar Sangam released in 2000. Recently she made a comeback in a film called Thodi Life Thoda Magic with Jackie Shroff, but that film was not noticed. She said that she is open to good offers.

Kalpna Patowary's Best Bhojpuri hits Aara Hile Chapra Hile collected by umain30.Singer Kalpana is classy, sophisticated and attractive.she is the Queen of Bhojpuri Music World and truly rules the hearts. This Assamese girl is the darling of the North Indian belt and has been christened the uncrowned BHOJPURI QUEEN.

She has been credited with reviving and promoting the Bhojpuri music industry. She is also credited in bringing back traditional forms of music to the International stage. Indian folk music particularly of Northern India & North East has been showcased and revived by Kalpana in a big way. As Kalpana says,I don’t want my folk music to be trapped in our villages. Yes it’s safe there in its original form, but of no use unless we make the world hear our very soulful and meditative music. So to make it global I am trying to blend the music of my homeland with world music and other genres. This passion for traditional music, the burning sense of rhythm and grooves made singer Kalpana worked in an album together with world class India’s virtuoso percussionist and bandleader Trilok Gurtu, one of the most dynamic and prolific musicians on a new project MASSICAL released from BIRD JAM label Germany and collaborated with international unique musicians like Carlo Cantini, Jan Garbarek, Phil Drummy, Roland Cabezas, Stefano Dall’Ora. She was on a world tour with Trilok Gurtu to promote the album. She recently made another demonstration of her musical genius with the brilliance of her performance at Blue Frog Studios in Mumbai with music maestro Trilok Gurtu. A graduate in English literature from Cotton College, Assam and Visharad in Indian Classical Music (vocal) under Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapeeth, Lucknow in 1996, her goal was set on furthering a career in music.Born and raised in ASSAM Kalpana first developed an interest in music when she was a child and learned to sing with her father, who had dabbled in folk music in his younger days; in her early teens, she picked up a harmonium and her dad taught her the notes selection. Kalpana began performing as a child, singing with her father. The group sang at local stages and community gathering. As a teenager, Kalpana sang with a local rock & roll band. She earned a scholarship to the Lucknow University, where she studied vocals and music engineering. After a while, she started professional singing. Upon graduating from college, she travelled around the North East, looking at various local music scenes. In 2001, with endless aspirations and immense confidence, Kalpana moved towards Mumbai the dream city of India.

This talented Assamese damsel made her debut with a remix album named “My Heart is Beating” with Times Music and by–and–by she didn’t look back.A disciple of Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Kalpana was fortunate to con classical music from him in order to shape her career. In spite of her mother tongue being Assamese, Kalpana easily adapted different languages. She has already sung in around 9000 songs for 22 languages.Later her first solo Bhojpuri album “Gawanwa Lija Raja Ji” from T-Series established her as an International Bhojpuri star singer by breaking all former records of T-Series. Kalpana was becoming a popular figure in the Bhojpuri music scene and in early 2002, T-Series Music Label seemed poised to sign a contract with Kalpana. This hit led to a record contract with T series. She has given the most hit Bhojpuri numbers in Northern India. In a very short span of time she has playbacked in maximum Bhojpuri films. She was entitled with “Bhojpuri Samragee” and “Swar Kokila” for popularity by Uttar Pradesh and Bihar government.Kalpana’s songs have been downloaded incessantly, while her large fan base speaks volumes about her popularity. She had many opportunities to sing for Hindi films and has already play blacked in more than 100 Hindi feature film. A few of them are Ajay Devgan’s-AAKROSH, Akshay Kumar’s -KHATTA MEETHA,WELCOME, DE DANA DAN, Shah rukh Khan’s-BILLU BARBER, Monty Sharma’s -CHAMKU & MIRCHH.This powerhouse vocalist set the stage on fire when she hit some orotund notes on the sets of NDTV Imagine’s Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka. Kalpana had been taking Assamese and Bhojpuri folk songs to various corners of India for more than a decade and Junoon Kuch Kar Dikhane Ka was simply the perfect platform for her to attain nationwide recognition. She is deeply rooted in Nirgun, Purvi, Kajree,Pachra(devi geet), Bihu folk forms. After Mahua Channels SUR SANGRAM-1,Kalpana proved once again to become one of the most popular female singer breaking through into the big time Bhojpuri Music World. In 2009, after a lengthy hiatus Kalpana build her own dream home studio MUSIC BOX STUDIOS in Mumbai.

The music of Assam, a state in the northeastern part of India, can be divided into various categories of folk music. In recent times starting the late eighties popular artistes have modernized the music that caters to local popular demand.

I LOVE YOU From One of Best Assamese love song

A basic characteristic of the ethnic music of Assam is its descending scale which distinguishes it from the raga-based or folk music from the rest of India. I LOVE YOU From One of Best Assamese love song
This style is shared by ethnic music of the hill people surrounding the state of Assam, and by the music of Thailand, Myanmar and China. Furthermore, the tunes are structured in a pyramid, in contrast to the music of rest of India which is meend based. Assam is a state with valleys and hills, and the home of many ethnic tribes. Just as the geography and varied people co-exist, the pulsating Bihu songs co-exist with languorous music of other forms.

Music has been imperative in the Assamese subsistence. There is no precise attestation to substantiate the dawning of Assamese music, however, it could be stated that Assam has been musically affluent since the naissance of the mighty Brahmaputra.Historians claim that a distinctive culture of the conglomeration of Songs, Musical Instruments and Dance was observed in Assam during the 2nd century. The legend of Princess Usha of Sonitpur and her cohort Chitralekha also enlighten us on the Musical expertise of the Assamese women. History also claims that Assamese Music was admired even in China.During the Vedic era Assam was introduced with Ragas and Dhrupad Shailee of the Indian Classical music. The connoisseurs however have divided the classical Assamese music into two parts – Borgeet and Ojapali. The composers of Borgeet Mahapurush Srimanta Shankardev and his disciple Madhabdev gave a new definition to the Assamese music. Here Jesmina Jannat Acted In  I LOVE YOU From One of Best Assamese love song .

So a lot of people have been asking me questions on how I make my music videos or how just to make a music video in general, so this is a tutorial on how to make one from planning all the way to uploading . This took forever to film so I hope it helps you all! If you need any further help, feel free to message me.

Picked from Wikipedia computer generated music :-

In recent years, as computer technology has become more accessible and music softwarehas advanced, interacting with music production technology is now possible using means that bear no relationship to traditional musical performance practices: for instance, laptop performance (laptronica)and live coding. In general, the term Live PA refers to any live performance of electronic music, whether with laptops, synthesizers, or other devices.

In the last decade, a number of software-based virtual studio environments have emerged, with products such as Propellerhead's Reason and Ableton Live finding popular appeal.Such tools provide viable and cost-effective alternatives to typical hardware-based production studios, and thanks to advances in microprocessor technology, it is now possible to create high quality music using little more than a single laptop computer. Such advances have democratized music creation, leading to a massive increase in the amount of home-produced electronic music available to the general public via the internet.

Artists can now also individuate their production practice by creating personalized software synthesizers, effects modules, and various composition environments. Devices that once existed exclusively in the hardware domain can easily have virtual counterparts. Some of the more popular software tools for achieving such ends are commercial releases such asMax/Msp and Reaktor and open source packages such as Csound, Pure Data, SuperCollider, and ChucK.

Story line of the movie Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya:-

Muskaan (Kajol) is an orphan girl living on a farm run by her overly-protective older brother, Vishal (Arbaaz Khan) and their 'Chachu' (Dharmendra). Muskaan's childhood friend, Ujaala (Anjala Zaveri), has been carrying a torch for the brooding Vishal since childhood, but he won't give her the time of day. Later on Muskaan decides she wants to go to university in the Mumbaiand has to persuade her brother to let her go. Once in the big city, Suraj (Salman Khan), an underachieving student, who does not get along with his stepmother and is estranged from his father, falls in love with Muskaan. After a few attempts at messing with Muskaan and trying to get her attention, Suraj finally succeeds and Muskaan falls in love with him. One day, when Vishal comes to visit Muskaan, he is mistakenly considered her boyfriend by Suraj and his group of friends. They consequently try to fight Vishal but instead get beat up. Vishal does not like Suraj because his terms and conditions of his future brother-in-law are very strenuous physically and he thinks Suraj is neither competent nor a man to be taken seriously. And he decides to bring Muskaan back to the farm sensing Suraj's bad influence on her studies. Suraj pursues her and starts working on the farm as a stable boy after a chance meeting with 'Chachu' in which he saves Chachu's life. Vishal decides to give Suraj another chance and puts him to the test; however, he is rejected. Vishal wants Muskaan to marry the brother of Thakur Vijay Singh (Nirmal Pandey), not knowing that Thakur Vijay Singh is doing this to merely extract vengeance against the Thakur family for a previous humiliation his own family received. So Suraj must now prevent this from happening and he must also be able to win Vishal's heart if he is really interested in marrying Muskaan. [ Source : Wikipedia ]
