IN ANKHON KI MASTI MASTANE HAZARON KI FROM UMRAO JAAN BY REKHA .
Umrao Jaan is one of the famous movie started by evergreen beauty queen of the Bollywood Bhanu Rekha Ganeshan alais Rekha.It was released in 1981 . The movie was  directed by Muzaffar Ali which  is based on the Urdu novel Umrao Jaan Ada (1905), written by Mirza Hadi Ruswa based on the famous Lucknow courtesan or bar dance club.

The evergreen lyrics were written by Akhlaq Mohammed Khan Shahryar and music composed by Mohammed Zahur Khayyam.Golden voice of Asha Bhosle gives another dimension to the songs.

Bhanu Rekha  Ganeshan was praised for her acting, but the box office returns were just average. The supporting characters were played byNaseeruddin Shah, Farooq Shaikh, Raj Babbar and Bharat Bhushan. Critics responded favourably to the carefully done historical setting.

Added version of  Umrao Jaan :-

A remake of Umrao Jaan was released on 3rd  November 2006. It is directed by J.P. Dutta and stars Aishwarya Rai as Umrao Jaan. The music is composed by Anu Malik and the lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar . But this version never reach the popularity to the original version.
