Izzat one of my choiced movie by Jayaram Jaylalita and Dramandra which was released in 1968 and Directed by T. Prakash Rao.The music composers were Laxmikant Pyarelal and lyrics by Sahir Ludhianvi the great.
Shortly the story:- Adivasi Shekhar returns home and finds that his mother, Savli, has passed away. Distraught, he is consoled by Father Abraham, who also tells him that his mother had an affair with wealthy Ramgarh-based Thakur Pratap Singh, who refused to marry her even after she became pregnant. Shekhar decides to avenge his humiliation and sets forth to expose Pratap. Upon arrival in Ramgarh, he finds that he has a fair-skinned look-alike half-brother, Dilip, as well as a sister, Neelu. Dilip meets him, hires him as a office staff person, and asks him to impersonate him in order to meet Deepa, the only daughter of wealthy Vinodbabu, and Shekhar agrees to do so. Shekhar meets Deepa and both are attracted to each other. Shekhar decides to tell her the truth about himself, and returns to Ramgarh. Once there, he finds history repeating itself as Dilip is in love with an Adivasi belle, Jhumki, but is refusing to marry her.

Kedarnath Bhattacharya who is popularly known as Kumar Sanu was born on 23 September 1957. is a leading Indian Bollywood playback singer. He was awarded the Filmfare Best Male Playback Award over five consecutive years after the legend Mohd Rafi. The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri in 2009.Kumar Sanu's father Pashupati Bhattacharya was a vocalist and composer. He trained Sanu as a singer and tabla player. After getting a degree in commerce from Calcutta University, Sanu began performing publicly in 1979, singing at shows and restaurants around Calcutta. He modeled his singing style after Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar. Later he developed his own singing style.

Sanu started his play back career with a Bangladeshi movie Tin Kanya directed by Shibli Sadiq in 1986. This music, was the title track of that movie. Kalyanji-Anandji suggested that he change his name from Kedar Nath Bhattacharya to Kumar Sanu.Sanu started off singing Jagjit Singh's film songs, and went on to work with composers including Naushad, Ravindra Jain, Hridayanath Mangeshkar, Pt.R K Razdan, Kalyanji Anandji, and Usha Khanna.
